Psi Delta was chartered on February 16, 1973 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the 6th District. Our illustrious founders are Brother Herb Davis and Brother Paul Woods (Omega chapter). The Brothers of Psi Delta are forever grateful to these two distinguished Brothers for bringing the Omega Experience of Friendship to Carolina.

Through the years, Psi Delta has been the entry point to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for more than 300 young men attending UNC. From the Nasty Nine charter line in 1973 to the Spring 2023 line, the Psi Delta lineage has spawned a collection of men who are proud to be Omega and proud to make Omega.

This website recognizes, recounts and reveres the history of Psi Delta and the men who form this special Omega bond. As Psi Delta prepares to celebrate 50 years, it is an opportune time to look back and see how far we have come and examine our place in history. Long live Psi Delta!
